Engraving Options and Placement
Each fuel cap can include up to three custom details, with designated locations for easy readability:
- Model # or N#:
- Location: Center of the cap.
- Details: Enter your aircraft’s Model # or N# to appear prominently in the center.
- Fuel Capacity per Tank:
- Location: Lower left section of the cap.
- Details: Indicate the fuel capacity per tank, commonly 25 or 30 gallons. Ensure the specified amount is per tank, not the total fuel capacity.
- Fuel Type:
- Location: Lower right section of the cap.
- Details: Specify your fuel type, with options such as 100LL or any other compatible fuel.

Original Fuel Cap Design
The original fuel cap used on many aircraft models, including Europa, Compair, Glasair, Lancair, Murphy, OMF, Rocket, Velocity, Zenith, and various RV-series planes, is engineered for secure sealing and reliable functionality. These caps feature fingertip operation, a flush-fitting anodized aluminum mounting ring, and durable modern engineering plastics with Viton O-ring seals. The non-vented design ensures fuel stays in, water stays out, and the locking version protects against unwanted debris.
